why is the BFD/WHI series also starting tonight? My guess is so the teams aren't sitting waiting for the 4th vs 5th series to be finished. looks like with all Friday Saturday games the series is strung out a little longer to accomadate the travel distance. I expect the Stoney Creek Series will be a little more compressed with a week night game or two due to less travel because they will face thorold or dundas.

I highly doubt Dundas goes down against Hamilton tonight especially with the game being in there own barn. The way Dundas and Mole played friday this game should be a win unless they get into penalty trouble then you never know. The true test will be against Thorold in 3 games in 3 days over the weekend. Whichever team faces Thorld we be in tight against a team that Just knocked off Whitby 6-3 this past weekend.

looks like Wayne Muir will have his number 24 retired next for the blast based on comments by Blast owner Peter Ham. I'm assuming sometime next season.

IF they finished last in the league how are they provincial champs. They are the only team that has declared AAA status in New Brunswick that's why they are the NB representative.

Tommorow night the Brantford Blast will retire Tyler Pelton's Jersey number 5. It's the first Blast Jersey to be retired, Pelton Played from 02-12 for the blast and captained the team for the last 9 of those years. He's the all time leader in points goals and assists and captained the team to the 2008 Allan Cup Win.

Pretty bad when that's the second case of a player fighting a fan in the stands this year in senior hockey.

Mole is now at a staggering 756 shots against this season and surprisingly still is on pace to have 100 less shots faced then last year.
