Apparently Leggat was asked by Stoney Creek and Hockey Canada denied the request.

I would be very surprised if SCG picked up Leggat. Yes, he did dress for game 5 of the ACH finals but didn't play at all. How do these rumours get started anyways? My sources tell me Leggat was asked by SC but will 100 percent not be at the Allan Cup.

If Svendin keeps playing the way he did in the finals against Brantford Stoney Creek has a good shot at the Allan Cup. Unfortunately Brantford was missing Leggat all playoffs due to a knee injury and some key players some of the games otherwise I think it would have been a closer series.

In Game 4 against Brantford he was accessed an instigator penalty (INS36) and an aggressor penalty (AGG37). Both of these penalties fall under Hockey Canada rule 6.7(b) on the OHF suspension list it states a first offence is 1 game, 2 offence is 2 an additional 2 games and a 3rd offence is 4 games. because he got 2 at once means he was issued a 2 game plus a 4 game suspension for a total of 6 games.

That save in the last minute with the blocker point blank to save the game was unbelievable he played very well in the 3rd.

There was at least once when he drove to the net in the second and the puck was loose in the blue that Marshall flopped back into the post and as for Leveille I'm not sure he's available to play anymore as he's playing in the states for another team now. Not sure how that effects his eligibility.

Marshall did it multiple times last night as well. It's more to do with the pegs at the Civic Center then it is the goalies. All you have to do there is lean against the net and it comes off. They would be better off with the pegs like they have in dundas. If my Atom goalies can knock the net off sliding from one side to the other what do you expect to happen with a 200 pound man bumping into them.

would it be fair to say attendance, at least in Dundas, was disappointment for this series? I didn't get a chance to attend any of these games unfortunately do to my coaching obligations but going purely on the pictures I'd agree that's a lot of empty seats for 2 teams so close geographically.

I'm clearly a blast fan as well so I'm going with Brantford in 7, I think this is going to be a very home ice advantage kind of series and Brantford will need to squeak one out in Stoney Creek to move on.

Schedule for Stoney Creek Vs. Dundas is now on the ACH Website There are 2 weekday games and both series are scheduled to have game 7 the same weekend exactly what I had predicted.

My only reasoning for thinking weekday games is you'll end up with one semi winner waiting possibly a week for the SC series to end. In that case it would have made more sense to delay the Brantford/Whitby series so that both semi winners had the same rest. but like you said no way to know with senior hockey.

Whether stoney creek plays Dundas or Thorold there will be a lot less travel distance then the other series allowing weekday games to be viable.

So Andrew, you're saying reasonable/probable projection would be one series will run less games than other series therefore both may wrap approx same time and then final series goes forward on reasonable even start. How clever!
You must feel fortunate not to be way up their at the 'Intelligent' level.
No I'm saying whoever plays stoney creek will be looking at the same number of games in less days. all the Brantford/Whitby games are either Friday or Saturdays, I expect there to be weekday games throw in for the Stoney creek so that both Series end within a few days of each other.
